Preterm Study
We are interested in understanding differences in brain and attention skills in children born preterm. We hope that our findings will be useful in helping preterm children reach their full potential!
WHAT DOES THE STUDY INVOLVE?
Your child will have a MRI, play games, and an IQ test.
2-3 visits to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
CAN MY CHILD PARTICIPATE?
They must be ages 4-6 years old and born <37 weeks.
They must not have any metal implants.
We will have a practice MRI to help familiarize them with the scanner.
